Sensei Colin Humbles, 5th Dan (NEEJJ)
Colin is the chief instructor and founder member of North East Essex Jikishin Jujitsu. He started training in under Sensei Bill Rudd in the Tiptree Dojo in September 1986. He also trained under Sensei Brian Devlin in South Woodham Ferrers and Sensei John Phillip in Basildon. Colin took over the Tiptree club when injury stopped Sensei Bill training anymore. He then started up the Marks Tey club. Colin took his black belt in May 1990 and has since gone on to 5th Dan which he took in December 2008. He is a BJJA(GB) level 4 (area)coach and instructor(CRB certificated), BJJA (GB) referee and judge and level 1 weapons instructor.
Sensei Mick Morrison, 3rd Dan (NEEJJ)
Mick joined NEEJJ when the Marks Tey club opened some fifteen years ago. He has a strong fitness regime outside of Jikishin and brings lots of ideas down from his brother who is a Karate Instructor in Scotland. Mick is a Third dan with Level 3 weapons assesment and a gold medal in Sparring !! He is also a Level 1 Coach registered with the BJJA (GB)(CRB certificated).
Sensei Kim Davies, 3rd Dan (NEEJJ)
Kim joined NEEJJ when the Marks Tey club opened some fifteen years ago. Prior to this, Kim spent a long time studying Karate. Kim runs both junior classes and brings his skill and expertise to our syllabus. Kim is very interested and very capable in groundfighting and brings a lot to our association in this area. Kim is a Third dan with Level 3 weapons assesment. He is also a Level 3 Coach (club Instructor) registered with the BJJA (GB)(CRB certificated).
Sensei Glen Andrews, 1st Dan (NEEJJ)
Glen has recently attained his level 2 coaching certificate 2008. He is a very competent jujitsuka and instructor with contacts and experience in boxing and karate.
Sensei Bob Green, 4th Dan (NEEJJ)
Bob has been training for nearly twenty one years in Jujitsu and probably the same in karate and boxing before that. He joined us at the young age of 63 and is proof that Jujitsu is definitely the self defence system for all. Despite arthritis in one knee, Bob is still active on the mat and is a consultant in the blocking and striking aspects of open hand and weapons techniques (level 1 weapons instructor).
